Best seafood! Just how it should be! Fresh and delicious!
Been going here for 40 years always fantastic food. Very cozy and quiet. Right on the water.
A local gem. Its very down homey. Basic building, but that is part of its charm. Just about the Best seafood in town. Go whenever you get a chance. Fresh**
this is a quaint seafood place at the marina. We used GPS to find it and because it was high tide, actually drove through some water before reaching it. They had a dart board on one side which cought my attention but there was clearly a league playing so we kept our focus on the food. The tables were all covered in newspapers to collect the random shells from crab and shrimp. I was sort of glad that they had them on the table because my hubby and I busied ourselves with a crossword while waiting for our food to arrive. The food was a bit pricey and lacked the seasonings that I am used to seeing on a low country boil. Still, the shrimp and crab were cooked properly and I am glad to have visited this place at least for the rich culture it contains within its walls.
I really enjoyed this spot. Food was great, seasoned to perfection! No fried food on the menu but didn’t even miss it. Nice, friendly staff and very clean!!! Definitely recommend it!
Meh... Prolly not a bad place to drink lite beer and eat boiled shrimp. Wife and I had the deviled crab which seemed to be mostly bread crumbs. They had good flavor though. The place has some nice dive bar charm and a pretty solid view. There wasn't anything wrong just wasn't spectacular.
Best Boiled Shrimp and crabs in town. Easy casual eating. Great place to meet, eat, and eat as slow as you please.
Love this little shack with great seafood! Tucked away near the water, it's a perfect casual place to get tasty seafood.
A no frills hole in the wall seafood place just like you used to see in the movies. Probably the freshest, tastiest boiled shrimp you'll ever eat-- I asked the proprietor how he seasons them, and he said he doesn't-- that's your job! They taste so good, he said, because they're fresh caught that day. Service was fast and friendly when we were there, but they weren't busy then, either. If I lived in Savannah, I would be here all the time.
Had an amazing time here. Food is beyond spectacular. David makes the simple boiled seafood into something divine.
Great food in a very casual atmosphere. No frills but plenty of charm.
Definitely a dive-y bar type vibe, but for what it is my husband and I really enjoyed it. Super simple menu, shrimp, crab legs, a low country boil platter with potstoes, sausage and corn, and a few sides to choose from. For people not looking for seafood they also had chili, grilled cheese, and hot dogs. The seafood was really good, and really tasted fresh, we shared the low country platter and a full order of crab legs. I was also a fan of the macaroni salad. The server was nice enough to bring us crackers for our toddler, which helped because it was all cooked to order and took a minute for the food to arrive. But I thought it worth the wait!We had a nice view of the river as well while we dined. It wasn't fancy, but it was perfect for a casual dinner of decent seafood.
Was shorted crab legs. When I asked for the rest the waitress said the cook said I got what I was going to get. When I said then you aren’t charging me full price the cook came out and tried to start a fight. Very unprofessional and not good business. Never going back.
